Positions

The Positions page is where you can update your positions over time, after new transactions.

Updating positions

Choose an Account from which to display positions.

Update positions as needed, then choose Save when done. You can undo pending changes by choosing Undo.

Depending on the type of asset, a position can be:

  • the number of shares of a security
  • an amount of crypto
  • an amount of currency
  • a physical quantity (in metric or imperial units) of commodity
  • the value of a custom asset
note

Generally, only long positions are supported.

There is one exception. Assets in the Currency market (i.e. cash) support both long (i.e. savings) and short (i.e. debt) positions when the Ignore setting is set. See Assets for more details about the Ignore setting.

Managing accounts

To create a new account, choose New account in the account selection menu. On the asset creation page, fill the required data then choose Create.

To update an existing account, select the account, then use settings icon.

You can delete an existing account by editing it, then choosing Delete.

note

Note that deleting an account will automatically delete all its associated positions.
